Jorgen Albrechtsen – Breaking 3 and 5 ice blocks 1975

In 1975, Jorgen Albrechtsen, 5. Dan Kyokushinkai karate, broke 3 ice blocks at a tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Later that year he repeated the task at the head school in Copenhagen, but this time with 5 ice blocks. It looked very spectacular and the pictures were published in major newspapers all over Denmark.
At that time, the Kyokushinkai head dojo in Copenhagen was the largest karate school in the world with close to 5000 members
